The 14th annual 49'er Law Enforcement Collectors Show will be held at a NEW LOCATION for 2009. The show will be held at the Placer County Fair and
Events Center, Lauppe Hall, Roseville, California, on Saturday, February 28, 2009. Roseville is located 18 miles east of Sacramento on Interstate 80.
Show hosts are Mike Lynch, Doug Messer, and Brian Smith. The show is a fund raiser for the Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) and is sponsored by
the International Police Association (IPA) Region 29.
There are 40, eight foot by 30 inch display tables available at $25.00 each. Reserve your table early as the show sells out every year! Walk-in donations
are $5.00 per person. There is a limit of two tables per person, unless the show does not sell out.
Show time is 0900 -1400. Table holders only setup starts at 0800.
Awards will be presented to the top four displays. Displays are limited to two eight foot display tables, on one side, or corresponding space, from
the floor to a height of not more than eight feet.
The Fairfield Inn at 1910 Taylor Road, Roseville, 916-772-3500, is offering a show rate of $89.00 plus tax. The $89.00 per night rate is only good
until February 13, 2009 so reserve your room early! The reservation code for the show is "NLCS". To reach the Fairfield Inn, take the Eureka Road exit,
number 105A, off Interstate 80.
The show hosts will host a pre-show gathering at the Residence Inn, 1930 Taylor Road, 1st floor Conference room, on Friday, February 27, 2009 from
1700 to 1900. The Residence Inn is a short walk from Fairfield Inn.
The Placer County Fair and Events Center is located at 800 All American City Blvd, Roseville, CA 95678. From Sacramento, take I-80 East toward Reno,
Exit Highway 65 North, Exit Pleasant Grove Blvd, Left on Pleasant Grove Blvd, Left on Washington Blvd, Right on All American City Blvd (at PARKING)
sign. Left at Fair entrance. Right on Lawton Avenue to Parking Lot C. Enter gate C to Lauppe Hall.
