The 23rd Annual Northern California Law Enforcement Collectors Show and the Menlo Park & Ripon Police Emergency Vehicle Show and
Recruitment Fair will be held at the Ripon Community Center on Saturday October 4, 2008. Show Hosts are Mike Lynch, Doug Messer,
and Brian Smith and Vehicle Show Host is Darryl Lindsay.
The show is a benefit for the Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS), the Ripon Police VIP's and the Menlo Park Police Cadets. The show
is sponsored by the International Police Association (IPA) Region 29 and the Ripon Police Department.
There are 70, eight foot by 30 inch display tables available at $20.00 each. Reserve early as the show sells out every year! Walk-in
donations are $3 per person.
Show time is 0900 - 1400. Tableholders only setup starts at 0800.
Awards will be presented, including the Best of Show and Chief's Award for Best Restored Emergency Vehicle.
The nearby Fairfield Inn at 4342 Salida Blvd., Modesto, 209-543-7800, is offering a corporate rate of about $82.00 plus tax. Mention
the Ripon Show when you make your reservation. To reach the Fairfield Inn, take the Pelandale exit off of Highway 99 in northern Modesto.

Show hosts Mike Lynch, Doug Messer, and I will host a pre-show gathering at the Fairfield Inn, 1st floor Conference room, on Friday
night before the show from 1700 to 1900.
Ripon is located about 65 miles south of Sacramento on Hwy 99. Take the only Ripon exit off Hwy 99, go west and follow the signs
to the City Park & community center, located at 312 West 4th St.
