The 23rd annual Northern California Law Enforcement Collectors Show and the Menlo Park and Ripon Police Emergency Vehicle Show and Recruitment Fair will be held at the
Ripon Community Center on Saturday, October 4, 2008. Ripon is located 65 miles south of Sacramento on Highway 99. Collector show hosts are Mike Lynch, Doug Messer,
and Brian Smith. The vehicle show is hosted by Darryl Lindsay.
The shows are fund raisers for the Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS), the Ripon Police (VIPS), and the Menlo Park Police Cadets. The shows are sponsored by the
International Police Association (IPA) and the Ripon Police Department.
There are 70, eight foot by 30 inch display tables available for collectors at $20.00 each. To ensure your requested table placement, reserve your table early. Walk-in
donations are $3.00 per person. There is a limit of four tables per person, unless the show does not sell out.
Show time is 0900 to 1400. Table holder only setup starts at 0800.
Awards will be presented, including the Best of Show and Chief's Award for Best Restored Emergency Vehicle.
The Fairfield Inn at 4342 Salida Blvd., Modesto, 209-543-7800, is offering a show rate of $90.00 plus tax. The $90.00 per night rate is only good until August 31, 2008 so
reserve your room early! The reservation code for the show is "NLCS". To reach the Fairfield Inn, take the Pelandale exit off Highway 99 in North Modesto.

Show hosts Doug Messer, Mike Lynch and I will hold a pre-show gathering at the Fairfield Inn, 1st floor conference room, on Friday night before the show from 1700 to 1900.
The Ripon Community Center is located at 312 West 4th Street. From Highway 99, take the main Ripon exit, go west and follow signs to the City Park & Community Center at 312
